Obituary of Miguel A. Quinones

Miguel A. "Chocolate" Quinones Jr., 57, of Amsterdam, passed on to his eternal rest Monday, July 11th, 2016 at his home unexpectedly. Born in Amsterdam, NY on May 9, 1959 a son of Miguel Quinones Sr. and Blanca Pacheco Quinones. Miguel was a graduate of Amsterdam High School. He was employed for a time at SOFCO Manufacturing and was an employee of the Local Laborers Union #190. Miguel loved eating and cracking jokes with everyone. He also enjoyed cooking and listening to PYX 106 on the radio. Miguel is survived by his loving mother, Blanca Quinones of Amsterdam. His five beloved children, Angela M. Quinones of Amsterdam, Michael A. Quinones, Amanda L. Quinones, Joshua N. Quinones and Bianca N. Quinones all of Amsterdam. One brother, Daniel Quinones and two sisters, Nilsa Cabrera and Wanda Quinones of Amsterdam. Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Miguel's father, Miguel A. Quinones Sr., passed away on July 15, 2015. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday July 19, 2016 at 11:15A.M. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY with Rev. Jeffrey M. L'Arche presiding.
