Obituary of Antoinette Francisco

Antoinette "Toni" Francisco, 75, of Amsterdam passed away peacefully on Monday, July 11, 2016 at St. Mary's Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 16, 1940 in Hamtramck, Michigan, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Wojick Ziemianski. Once Toni moved to the area, she was a lifelong resident, graduating from Amsterdam High School. Together Toni and her husband, Charles, ran Mohawk View Farms until 1984. She was very involved in the Montgomery Co. Dairy Princess Program, together with her daughter, Laurie, they would go to different locations and stores to promote dairy. Toni was also very active when her children were in the Captain Snooks 4-H Group. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially going to all her grandchildren's sporting events. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Besides her loving husband, Charles, survivors include her son, Michael Francisco (Jeanne); daughters, Laurie Palmatier(Kevin) and JoAnne Francisco; brother, Edward Ziemianski (Elly); sisters, Jeanette Engle (Robert), Patricia Zakowski (Edward) and Elizabeth Sims (Dohn); grandchildren, Mike and Corey Kaczor, Rachel, Hannah and Noah Francisco. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. A funeral service for Toni will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 10am at Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY, 12010. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Amsterdam. Calling hours to which relatives and friends may attend will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 from 4pm to 7pm at the funeral home.
