Obituary of Lois F. Hansen

Mrs. Lois F. Hansen, 81, of Anderson Rd., Sprakers, passed away Thursday afternoon at St. Marys Hospital in Amsterdam, NY. Born on April 17, 1923 in Chelsea, Mass she was the daughter of the late Harold and Lois Periera Baldwin. Mrs. Hansen was educated in and was a lifelong resident of Massachusetts until moving to Sprakers with her daughter in 1989. She was employed by Shawmut National Bank in Worcester, Mass for over 25 years until retiring as manager of the trust department in 1986. Mrs. Hansen was of the Roman Catholic Faith. She married Edwin S. Hansen in May of 1950. He passed away on December 28, 1976. Survivors include a son, Gary Hansen and his wife Debbie of Worcester, Mass; 2 daughters, Liane Conan and her husband Neal of Chevy Chase, MD, and Kathy Marvel and her husband Mark of Sprakers, NY; and seven grandchildren also survive. A Memorial Mass will be held in Worcester, Mass at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
