I had Miss Agne as a second grade teacher in McKinley School 1961. My sister, Valerie, and my brother, Wallace had her for their teacher, too. Miss Agne was an outstanding educator with her encouragement, enthusiasm, and love for children. I find it amazing that she was 50 years old when I had her as a teacher, the same age that I am now. I have taught 28 years but still have a "few" more years to catch up to the number of years she spent in education!

Miss Agne inspired me to be the teacher I am today. The highest compliment was when I was told that I reminded someone of Miss Agne. She was a great lady.
