Obituary of Aron H. Lenz

Aron H. Lenz, 36, of Chapman Drive, Amsterdam passed away Tuesday at his home. Born on January 2, 1969 in Amsterdam, NY he was the son of Helmar and Mary Anne Gaglioti Lenz. Aron was a lifelong area resident and attended local schools. He was employed for the past 17 years by the Amsterdam Memorial Hospital, Amsterdam. Aron was a member of the St. Lukes Evangelical Lutheran Church, Amsterdam. He also enjoyed spending time with his children, fishing with his son, gardening, swimming, and loved being in the outdoors. Survivors include his wife, Yvonne Sieverts Lenz of Johnstown; his son, Gary Austin Lenz of Johnstown, his daughter, Kayla Lynn Lenz of Johnstown; his parents, Helmar and Mary Anne Lenz of Amsterdam; 4 sisters, Beverlyanne Blongiewicz of Amsterdam, Rosalie Chichester of Gloversville, Jo Ann Langlois of Hagaman, and Jenny Bouck of Perth; and several nieces and nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave., Amsterdam, NY. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions my be made in Aron?s memory to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Rd., Loudonville, NY 12211.
