To the Schmidt Family,
Now that I?ve read all the heartfelt wishes from many of your friends and loved ones tears stream down my face. I too want to express that my memories of Mary are of someone full of happiness, kindness and strength. Prior to May of 2004 I lived on the corner of Rockton Street and Mary and Jorge would walk by and Mary always complimented my flowers or had a kind word to say. I ran into her in Price Chopper a couple of months ago and with all that she was going through she maintained an upbeat and positive attitude. Through my friendship with the Natale family I was able to view her artistic talent. The picture she did of Missy and Joe was beautiful. I was sorry I was unable to attend Mary?s viewing but my grandmother turned 94 that day and Mary?s passing reminded me of how very lucky I am to still have her in my life and I needed to show her my appreciation by spending the afternoon and evening with her. Mary touched many lives in a warm and positive way. My thoughts and prayers are with you,

Dear Jorg,Jamie and Kristin,
Just the other day I found this picture of Mary and myself out front of her house on Evelyn Ave. We were all dressed up in our Mom's clothes and thought we looked great. We shared so many wonderful moments, shared so many great times together her demeanor always remained the same no matter what trouble we got ourselves into. She and my son share the same birthday and it will never be the same. I am unable to attend the viewing and service but want to send my thoughts and prayers. I will miss her dearly and will honor her memory every June 1st. My memories of our relationship will keep her close in spirit as she is now in a place shared with our beloved parents and loved ones. I will miss your laughter, your smile and your beautiful cards. Love you,Sue

but I always remember her even as
a young woman, her love to laugh

smile on her face, and even over
the years we would see each other,
and we would catch up on our
lives, family, etc. The last time
I saw her she was carrying balloons

she was so happy, that will be my

laughter.......

Where do I begin? The neighborhood won't be the same without MaryBeth. Who else is going to scare me out of a sound sleep with a quick yell and laugh as I lay on my porch asleep. Everytime I saw flowers I thought and will continue to think of her, displaying her talents to all from her front porch to her magnificant paintings, one of which hangs over my fireplace that I will truly cherish. I know and feel your pain of loss. Just fill the gaps with memories and most of all faith that some day you will all be together again. I'm here for all of you if need be. I'm just a hop and skip away from my door to yours. I would be honored in MaryBeth's memory to help in any way I can. God Bless, Rose Marie
