Dear Shirley and family,
We were so saddened to hear of the passing of Gerry. I know what a difficult time this is for you all.
It is funny, but day before yesterday, he popped into my thoughts and I wondered how he was doing. He will be missed.
You are in our prayers. God Bless.
With Deepest Condolences,

It's never easy losing a parent, no matter how old they may be. Keep all your memories of your father close to your heart. Cherish all the times you had together. Take care.

Shirley I am saddened by the passing of Gerry. You probably don't remember me, but I will never forget Gerry's smile. You and Gerry would visit my Mother Marion and my step-father Paul when I was living with them. This is a time of sorrow but it also a time of sharing him with those who passed on before him. He will be among the best.

A few years back, when my father died, Uncle Jerry was there for me and I really apprciated that. He showed me family pictures I'd never seen and told me war stories I'd never heard.
It is unfortunate I am so far away and unable to pay my respects in person. It is truly regretable.
Uncle Jerry's generation was defined by World War II. He was a soldier, all his life. He gave much and asked for little, for us.
