Obituary of Betty J. Ault

Mrs. Betty J. Green Ault of Fonda, died Sunday, March 20, 2005 at Nathan Littauer Hospital Extended Care Facility, Gloversville. Born in Ballston Spa, NY, she was the daughter of Raymond and Gladys Morris Green, and was educated in Johnstown schools. Early in her life she was employed by the former Templeton Glove Company in Fonda, and for many years worked as a machine operator at Kasson & Keller in Fonda, retiring several years ago. She was a member of St. Cecelia?s Church and worked as a volunteer at the bingo program. Betty was also a member of the Fonda Women?s Bowling League, and of the Pro-to Club, a ladies group dedicated to raising funds for charitable causes. A loving and caring wife, mother and friend, Betty will be sadly missed, but long remembered for her life long kindness and compassion extended to family and friends. She is survived by husband Rosario Frank Ault Jr. of Fonda, whom she married June 23, 1951; a daughter, Sherri Lynne Ault of Fonda; her son, Thomas R. and his wife Rosalie Rieth Ault of Scotia; a sister, Cheryl Green Curtis of Saratoga Springs; several nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family at Evergreen Cemetery, Fonda. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Health Center, 2-8 W.
