You became our Pope when I graduated from high school. April 2nd was my birthday. I cried so much when you died. I didn't know if it was a sign that you died on my birthday. Then on April 16th my precious father died. My grief is undescribable. I keep thinking all this is conected but I can't figure it out. God Bless.

Thank God for having blessed us with a truly great individual. At this time may we as Catholics pause to reflect upon his teachings and make a commitment to carry on his legacy. I pray also for the Conclave as they meet to choose the next Pope. May Pope John Paul II continue to watch over us.
