Obituary of May B. Przybylowicz Nass
May B. Przybylowicz Nass, 95, of Chenoa Ill., passed away at the Meadows Mennonite Home in Chenoa.
Born in Amsterdam on April 15, 1909, the daughter of Karol and Victoria Gomulka
Pryzybylowicz, she was educated here where she lived until moving to Schenectady and later to Illinois to be near her family.
A homemaker, she was a communicant of St. Stanislaus? Roman Catholic Church in Amsterdam. On July 31, 1939 she was united in marriage to Karl H. Nass who predeceased her on Oct. 19, 1978.
Her loving family includes her daughter, Eileen C. and her husband Roland Grotbo of LeRoy, IL; her grandchildren: Christopher Grotbo of LeRoy, Andrew and Scott Grotbo of Bloomington, and Susan Grotbo of Chicago; a sister, Ruth Karutis of Amsterdam; and several nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be offered by Fr. David Mickiewicz on Saturday at 10:00 am at St. Stanislaus? Church, Cornell Street. There are no calling hours. Interment is in St. Stanislaus? Cemetery. There are no calling hours, and contributions may be made to the Meadows Mennonite Home, 24588 Church Street St., Chenoa, IL 61726 to whom the family is most grateful for her care. Her arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam.
