Obituary of Mark S. Kaczor

Mark S. Kaczor, 48, of Riedel Road, died Saturday at St. Mary?s Hospital in Amsterdam after a long illness. Born December, 19, 1956, in Amsterdam, New York, he was the son of Stanley R. and Roberta ?Claire? Miller Kaczor. He was a life long area resident and graduated from Perth Central High School. Mark was employed as a heavy equipment operator for the North Gate Homes in Perth for 24 years. He was a communicant of St. Mary?s Roman Catholic Church in Amsterdam. Mark loved hunting, fishing and enjoyed spending time in the Adirondacks especially camping at Indian Lake. When it came to hunting he had the gift of being a good shot. On July 19, 1980, he married the former Linda Sawyer Young. Besides his wife, survivors include; his parents, Stanley R. and Roberta Kaczor of Perth; three sons, Mark S. Kaczor Jr. of Clayton, North Carolina, Steven J. Kaczor of Fort Oaks, North Carolina and Matthew Kaczor of Binghamton, N.Y.; two brothers, Bruce E. Kaczor and Christopher J. Kaczor of Perth; a sister, Barbara A. Liverio and her husband John of Amsterdam; two aunts, Eleanor Landry of Amsterdam and Josephine Calaroni of Gloversville; nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral services will be held in Wednesday, April 13, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, N.Y. Burial of his cremated remains will take place in St. Mary?s Cemetery, Fort Johnson. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
