Obituary of Marguerite Edwards

Mrs. Marguerite Wille Edwards, age 92, of Johnstown, passed away Monday, May 2, 2005 at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady. She was born March 7, 1913 in Gloversville, the daughter of Peter and Emma Wille. She worked in various glove shops in the area as a machine operator. Mrs. Edwards was a member of Women of the Moose #149, Gloversville. She loved playing cards, bowling, sewing and shopping.She is survived by two daughters, Beverly Pickering and Carol Lowrey of Johnstown; a granddaughter, Vicki Fuller ; three grandsons, Tim, Tom and Dennis Fisher ; six great grandchildren, Jennifer, Carly, Jeffrey, Haley, Hannah and Justin; two great great grandchildren, Jared and Brianna; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Carie Bradt, Maggie Cosselman, Peter Wille, Bert Wille and George Wille.The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM Wednesday at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St., Gloversville, where a funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Robert W. Busch officiating. Interment will take place at FernDale Cemetery, Johnstown.
