Obituary of Betty M. Rowley

Betty M. Rowley, age 80, of Gloversville, died Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Nathan Littauer Hospital Nursing Home, Gloversville. She was born May 23, 1937 in Gloversville, the daughter of Kenneth and Catherine (Hallenbeck) Hilts. She was employed as a nurse's aide by Willing Helpers Home of Johnstown and later by Getman Memorial Home of Gloversville for many years. She was a member of and also enjoyed attending the Johnstown Women of the Moose. Betty is survived by three sons, Jake Spraker (Nancy) of Gloversville, Mark Spraker (Murene) of Hagaman and Jamie Spraker of Gloversville; five grandchildren, Jennifer Spraker, Jamie Spraker, Jaclyn Spraker, Marissa Spraker and Randy Spraker. The family will receive relatives and friends from 11am to 12pm on Friday, February 9 at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St; Gloversville, where a Funeral Service will follow at 12pm with the Rev. Dr. R.W. Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the charity of your choice.
