Obituary of Nathalie O. Bullock
Mrs. Nathalie O. Bullock, 83, formerly of Canajoharie passed away Sunday morning at Nathan Littauer Nursing where she had been a resident.
Born on September 23, 1921 in Utica, NY she was the daughter of Edward and Hermoine Fuller Oliver. Mrs. Bullock was a lifelong area resident, she was a graduate Canajoharie High School class of 1939, and went on to get a degree from Albany Business College.
Mrs. Bullock worked for a short time as a secretary for an independent insurance agent and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Monday Evening Club in Canajoharie, and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Canajoharie where in 1975 she received a 25 year continuous membership award. Mrs. Bullock also enjoyed flying and was a pilot as a hobby.
She married Al D. Bullock on May 14, 1948. He passed away on January 31, 1985.
Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Akey and her husband Peter of Gloversville; a step daughter, Anne Montanye and her husband Jack of California; 2 grandchildren, Kyla Rice, and Kelsy Rice; 7 step grandchildren; and several step great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2005 at 9:15 a.m. at the Lenz & Betz Funeral Home, 69 Otsego St., Canajoharie followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be Celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter & Paul?s Roman Catholic Church, Cliff St., Canajoharie with the Rev. William Gaffigan celebrant. The burial will take place in St. Peter & Paul?s Cemetery, Canajoharie. Calling hours will be on Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to a charity of choice.
