Obituary of Gary L. Wells

Mr. Gary L. Wells, 68, of Northern Terrace, Ft. Plain, NY passed away at the Palatine Nursing Home after a short illness. Born on December 3, 1936 in Ft. Plain, NY he was the son of Morris and Marion Harbster Wells. Gary was a lifelong area resident and was a graduate of Ft. Plain High School. He was employed by the Montgomery County Highway Department as a heavy equipment operator for many years until his retirement. Gary was also an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, bow hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Marguerite Peg Dawes Wells whom he married on October 20, 1962; his children, Jeffery L. Wells of Ft. Plain, and Brenda Wells of Albany; 3 grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Gary was predeceased by 2 brothers, Gerald and Ronald Wells. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions made be made in his memory to the Mid-County Volunteer Ambulance, P. O.
