Obituary of Leslie H. Mabie

Mr. Leslie H. Mabie, age 51 of Gloversville, died Friday May 27, 2005 at Nathan Littauer Hospital, Gloversville. He was born May 16, 1954 in Amsterdam, the son of George Sr. and Anna Probes Mabie. Leslie was employed at JBF Industries in Gloversville for several years, and last worked at Keymark Corp. in Fonda until his recent disability. Mr. Mabie was a member of Gloversville Moose Lodge #351 and the Johnstown Eagles Aerie. He was of the Catholic faith. He is survived by his son, Kenneth L. Mabie of Broadalbin; his father, George Mabie Sr. of Gloversville; two brothers, George Mabie Jr. and Clarence Mabie of Gloversville; three sisters, Diana Nichols of Gloversville, Linda Rivenberg of Berne, NY and Bonnie Tyler of South Kourtright, NY; two granddaughters, Marcella Tomlinson and Kendra Lavery, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St., Gloversville, where a prayer service will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday. Cremation will follow at Park View Crematorium, Schenectady. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
