Obituary of Myrtle C. Bronk
Myrtle C. Bronk, 100 formally of Ft. Plain NY, currently of Palatine Nursing Home, passed away at St. Mary?s Hospital in Amsterdam after a short illness.
Born November 6, 1904 she was the daughter of William and Elizabeth Verklas Connell and was educated in Schenectady.
Mrs. Bronk was employed as a bookkeeper for Snyder Petroleum of Ft. Plain until retiring in 1966. She was a member and past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Bronk was also a 50 year member of the Glendale Rebekah Lodge in Schenectady.
Mrs. Bronk was married to Russell Campbell in 1928, he passed away in 1942. She then married William Bronk in 1947, he passed away in 1979.
She was also predeceased by one son: Russell W. Campbell in 1974.
Mrs. Bronk is survived by: One sister, Ruth E. Soellner of Palatine Bridge; Two Grandchildren: Richard and his wife Anne Campbell of Cooperstown, NY and Glenn and his wife Michelle of Cape Coral, Florida. Four Great- Grandchildren: Keith Russell, Kayleen Marie, Courtney Paige, and Nicole Marie Campell, and one nephew.
Calling Hours will be Friday, June 3rd from 2 until 4 and the Lenz & Betz Funeral Home, 69 Otsego St., Canajoharie with a prayer service at 4pm. Burial will take place at 11am, Saturday June4th in the Park Cemetery, Scotia. Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Bronk?s Memory to a charity of ones choice.
