Angela and Family,
We all know that Henry touched the lives of many and was loved by all. Words are difficult in light of such an enormous loss. I've struggled and searched and finally found something I would like to share:
He Will Be Remembered....
A remarkable man is gone now,
and this world seems
a little lessened somehow
because he is not part of it....
a little less wise and great,
a little less good and brave.
May it help to know that
he will never be forgotten
by those whose lives he touched.
And may your own cherished memories
bring you comfort and peace.
We hold you close in our thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Karen

Dear Angela and Family,
I was so deeply saddened to hear of Henry's death and you have my sincere and heartfelt condolences. We were colleagues together at BMS and although he probably never knew it, he had a lasting effect on my career and my approach to business and teamwork. When I transitioned from the BMS consumer group to the pharmaceutical business, Henry welcomed me with open arms, a cheerful grin and unwavering support. He always made me feel as if I could do anything. He set an example for me of how to be a respected leader, a trusted colleague and a valued friend, all at the same time. I, and so many others, will miss him greatly.

Angela and Family- my brother, Robert Parks, sent me the notice of Henry's death. We both graduated in '64 and he was such a sweet guy. The summer of '68 you and I worked at you uncle's restaurant after I graduated from college. I was waiting to leave for my first job in CA. I will be home in Aug. to see my parents who still live on Country Club. Sorry to hear of your loss.

Dear Angela and Family,
Henry was so special to me. He was my very first supervisor as a professional and my first District Manager - he helped to launch my 17 year career in the pharma industry. I will always be grateful to him for the opportunities he opened up for me - first as a sales rep and later as a DM. More than just a manager and mentor, Henry was a friend. He was loved, admired and respected because of how he treated people... and not just some people, but everyone. In talking with colleagues this week that have known Henry for a long time, the same phrase kept coming up -- Henry was a "class act". The friendship and support he showed me over the years will always be with me. I am so sorry for your loss, and you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Rose Means

Dear Angela and the entire Martini family,
Ron and I were deeply saddened to hear of Henry's passing. Although we new that his illness had taken it's toll on him we always held out the hope that God would grant a miracle for a very special person.
We will always remember his warm smile and his ability to make you feel important.
I'll always remember him visiting Aunt Julia and talking with him about our families and how they have grown. He was so proud of his sons and being a proud grandfather.
I'll always remember his tender ways with his Mom and still that bit of the comic coming out and making her laugh even the very last few days.
He was remarkable man.
I hope this will help to ease the pain to know that he left a ever lasting mark on each life he touched.
I read this poem somewhere and pass it along to you all.......
When Tomorrow Starts Without Me
"As I know how much you love me,
As much as I love you,
And each time that you think of me,
I know you'll miss me too;
So, when tomorrow starts without me,
Don't think we're far apart,
For every time you think of me,
I'm right here, in your heart."
May God grant you the courage and faith to endure your loss and know that we are thinking of you.
Love,
Ron and Audie

Angela and Family,
Susan & I would like to express our deepest sympathy for your loss. Some of my fondest memories were our weekend "gigs" in high school when the DELMARS featured Henry on the trumpet playing "Wonderland By Night".We would close our eyes and hope that he would hit that high note which he always did and just smiled. Although our lives would take different paths after that, I am thankful that we were able to connect again over the last year and a half with weekly phone calls. Every call showed me his courage, positive attitude and love for his family. Susan & I will forever cherish the over night we had with the two of you in NJ.
You now have the support of your wonderful sons & their families, and a husband that is proud and looking down on all of you.
God Bless you all.

Angela and Family,
My deepest sympathy for your loss. I have very fond memories of the times Henry Sonny, I and others shared together as youngsters. Although out of contact, I have followed his health status continuously through the family. Many prayers were offered but the Lord wanted him. As I wipe the tears from my eyes, I can understand what a most difficult time this must be for all of you who experienced his daily love and joy. As I said to cousin Dan, we have lost our partner, refering to our sporting games, sleep overs and unforgetable fun times of many years ago.
The flashbacks of Henry's memories and character will never be forgotten by this writer.
May God Bless you all and all I can say is carry on as best as you can and keep the pride and character that Henry had earned and now wants passed on to his family; follow his example. I am sure that he is already so proud of all of you.
I'm very sorry.
John Gentile
