Obituary of Alice Moyer Galusha

Mrs. Alice Moyer Galusha, 90, of Walnut St., Canajoharie passed away Saturday morning at St. Mary?s Hospital, Amsterdam after a short illness. Born in the Town of Minden on July 9, 1914, the daughter of Guy and Jane Marsh Moyer, she attended St. Johnsville schools and lived in this area her entire life. A homemaker, she was a member of the Canajoharie Reformed Church. Alice was a member of the Ft. Rensselaer Chapter of The Daughters of the American Revolution, The Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 202 of St. Johnsville and the U.A.R.D.A. Temple 24 of the Daughters of the Nile. On Sept. 10, 1932 she was married to Arthur W. Galusha. He predeceased her on Sept. 4, 1999. A special friend, Donna Ragonese, as well as other dear friends also survive. A graveside service will take place on Friday at 10:00 am at the Ft. Plain Cemetery with the Rev. Lisa VanderWal officiating. There are no calling hours at Alice?s request. Contributions may be made to the Mid County Ambulance Service. The arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Lenz & Betz Funeral Home, 69 Otsego Street, Canajoharie.
