Obituary of Sally Jean Bornt

Mrs. Sally Jean Vaughan Bornt died Wednesday, June 29, 2005 in Gloversville. She was 78 years of age. She was born October 30, 1926 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late John and Nina Little Vaughan. A graduate of Johnstown High School in 1943, Sally lived most of her life in the Gloversville area. She was first employed as a telephone operator at the former General Telephone Company in Johnstown. She later was a deli manager at the former Loblaw?s Supermarket in Gloversville. In her later years Sally operated an antique shop at her home. Mrs. Bornt is survived by three daughters, Linda M. Krueger Walter of Leicester, Judith White Paul of Mayfield and Sheryda Cooper Robert of Gloversville; one sister, Dona Baird of Scotia; four grandchildren, J. C. Krueger, Kristin Leitten, Lisa Dingman and Taryn Cooper; six great grandchildren, two nephews and a niece. Her husband Ronald James Bornt predeceased her in 2003. A private service will take place at the convenience of the family on Saturday at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, Gloversville. Interment will take place at Broadalbin Mayfield Rural Cemetery, Broadalbin.
