Obituary of Estella Fish

Mrs. Estella Fish, 80, of Commons Rd., Fonda passed away Tuesday morning at her home after a long illness. Born on June 19, 1925 in the Town of Charleston, NY she was the daughter of Frank and Wrsula Gordon Rhinehardt. Estella was a lifelong area resident and attended local schools. She was a homemaker and belonged to the Charleston Senior Citizens Group. She was also a member of the Christian Church of Charleston Four Corners. She first married Kenneth Pierce whom passed away in 1968. She later married Walter Fish whom passed away in 1998. Survivors include her son, Willard Pierce and his wife Donna of Fonda; 2 daughters, Dorothy Crawford and her husband Andy of Amsterdam, and Diane Alexandra of Florida; a sister, Eda Mae Bryf of Doldgeville; 14 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Jackson & Betz Funeral Home, 15 Main St., Fultonville with the Rev. Brett Popp officiating. The burial will take place in the Sloansville Valley Cemetery, Central Bridge. Calling hours will be on Thursday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
