Obituary of Craig Hrycenko
Craig Hrycenko, 28, of Brandon Rd., Esperance passed away Sunday afternoon after a motor vehicle accident on Rt. 30A in Esperance.
Born on October 23, 1976 in Fayetteville, NC he was the son of Peter Hrycenko and Dawn Hillman Snyder. Craig was a lifelong area resident moving to the local area as a young child. He was a graduate of Fonda-Fultonville High School class of 1994 and attended Schenectady Community College.
Craig was employed as a call center supervisor at AAA Northway of Schenectady where he has worked for the past 11 years.
He enjoyed playing horseshoes and was a member of the Esperance Elks Lodge Horseshoe League. Craig loved to ride snowmobiles, ATV?s, motorcycles or just about anything with wheels. He was an avid outdoorsman, and he loved to hunt. He also loved spending time with his family, and working around his home.
He was the beloved husband of Rebecca Howland Hrycenko, whom he married on June 6, 1998; he was the loving father of his ?Peanut Queen? Isabelle Aleese Hrycenko; he is also survived by his father, Peter Hrycenko and his wife Barbara of Fairbanks, Alaska; his mother, Dawn Snyder and her husband Gary of Amsterdam; his second mother, Pauline Hrycenko of Esperance; paternal grandparents, Vera and Boris Sinton of Florida; maternal grandmother, Barbara Weldon of Amsterdam; a brother, Clayton Snyder of Amsterdam; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also survive.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave., Amsterdam, NY. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made payable to Isabelle Aleese Hrycenko for a fund for her education.
