Obituary of Susan R. Frascatore

Susan R. Frascatore, 64, of Prospect Street, died Sunday afternoon at St. Mary?s Hospital after a long illness. Born July 22, 1940, in Amsterdam, New York, she was the daughter of Roy and Gertrude Peck Haverly. She was a 1958 graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch High School and was a graduate of the Mildred Elley Business School. Susan was employed as a secretary for Larrabe?s and later Empire Devices in Amsterdam. She was a member of the Home Bureau in Fort Johnson and St. Luke?s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Amsterdam. Susan enjoyed spending time with her family, especially years ago when they would go camping at Wildwood, New Jersey. On October 22, 1960, she married David K. Frascatore, Sr. Besides her husband, she is survived by her family; two sons, David K. Frascatore, Jr. and his wife Bonnie of Perth, NY and Gregg S. Frascatore and his wife Deborah of Broadalbin, NY; five grandchildren, Nathan, Taylor, Leah, Jayson and Julianna; a step-grandson, Shawn; an aunt and cousins also survive. Funeral services will be held on Friday July 15, 2005 at 11:00 AM at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam with the Rev. John A. Califano officiating. Burial will take place in Fairview Cemetery in Amsterdam. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home. A Legacy Candle Ceremony will be held on Thursday at 6:45 PM at the funeral home.
