Farewell dear Mary Beth. You were such a great friend and colleague for so many years. I will miss you greatly and never forget our September gatherings in the schoolhouse in Glen. Still using your recipes and ideas I remember Ann's wedding and the birth of the grandkids and the goats down the road. Thanks for all the good times and happy memories.

Mrs. McDuffee was my professor, my mentor and my friend at SCCC. She inspired me to go on to bigger and better things--and I did. We kept in touch for several years until after her car accident. We lost touch after that, but I have the most wonderful memories of her--she was such a special lady. She is finally with her husband again after all these years. She missed him terribly. May God bless and comfort all of you during this time.

The one thing I will remember about Aunt Mary Beth is her laugh. It was sort of like a chuckle, and I still remember it vividly. She touched many lives with her kind personality and wisdom. My husband only had the opportunity to get to know her briefly, but he enjoyed talking with her. She will forever remain in our memories.

Condolences to Ann and family,
Aunt Mary Beth was a very intellegent lady with alot of dignity and pride. She is no longer suffering with the confusion and fear of the disease.
I will never forget our summer vacations we spent with Aunt Mary Beth and Ann and family when I was young. There are so many memories of the times we spent with everyone and the things we did in New York.
Aunt Mary Beth will be missed by so many people , because she touch the lives of so many.

The photo is perfect. . . it?s just how I remember Mary Beth. She always had a smile and shared her love of God and teaching. It was often that you would hear a student saying how much they enjoyed having her for a professor. She was an inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

I will always remember and treasure the summers that my family made trips up to see Aunt Mary Beth and we stayed at the "schoolhouse". I really enjoyed those vacations. She was such a loving person and a wonderful hostess. I wish my husband and daughter would have had the chance to meet her. I know she would have loved them and they would have loved her. It's hard to believe that she is gone. She is a person that you thought would be around forever. She will be sadly missed.

Our deepest sympathies to all of the family. Mary Beth was a special person who enriched the lives of all who knew her. Mary Beth was a master teacher and it was an honor to be her colleague as well as her friend. The memories of working with her and the yearly picnics at the 'school house' are very precious to us. The trip to Greece was one of the highlights of our shared experiences. Mary Beth will be missed as well as fondly remembered.
