Obituary of Margaret F. Doyle

Miss Margaret F. Doyle, age 88, died Monday, September 5, 2005 at Nathan Littauer Hospital Nursing Home, Gloversville. She was born October 21, 1916 in Lake Placid, NY, the daughter of Edward and Carrie Doyle. Margaret was a registered nurse and school nurse teacher at the Port Jervis Public Schools in Port Jervis, NY. She came to Northville in 1977 and was a substitute school nurse for the Northville Central Schools. Miss Doyle was a member of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church, Northville. Survivors include her nieces and nepehws, Carolyn Fisher of Sanibel, FL; Barbara Pike of South Carolina, Donna Doyle, Timothy Doyle and Patrick Doyle of Saranac Lake, Megan Vosper, Kelly Doyle and James Doyle of Seattle, WA; a sister-in-law, Betty Doyle of Saranac Lake; several grandnieces and grandnephews; and her special friend Shirley Filkins of Northville. She was preceded in death by her sister, Marie Hilts, and her brother, Edward Doyle. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Thursday at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St; Gloversville. A Mass of Christian will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Friday at St. Francis R.C. Church, Northville, with the Rev. Robert W. Powhida officiating. Interment will take place at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Northville.
