Obituary of Felecita Santiago

Felecita Santiago, 50, of Wall St., Amsterdam, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon at St. Mary?s Hospital in Amsterdam. Born in Juncos, Puerto Rico on September 13, 1954 a daughter of Isabelo Rivera and Juana Sanchez Diaz. Mrs. Santiago was a homemaker and of the Roman Catholic Faith. She is survived by her husband, Rafael Santiago, whom she had been married to for over 22 years. She is also survived by her mother, Juana Sanchez Diaz; three sons, Tito Santiago of Amsterdam, Manuel Santiago of Amsterdam and Alexander Santiago of Amsterdam; one daughter, Maria Santiago of Amsterdam; one sister, Ramona Ojeda of Puerto Rico; 12 cherished grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9:45AM at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, Grove St. with the Rev. Brian List as celebrant. Interment is in Fairview Cemetery, Amsterdam. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 5-8PM at the funeral home.
