Obituary of Marion Van Deusen

Mrs. Marion Van Deusen, 86 years old of Midline Road, Amsterdam, died Saturday at E. L. Wilkinson Residential Health Care Facility where she had been a patient since June of last year. She was born July 4, 1919 in Amsterdam and was a life long resident of Amsterdam. Mrs. Van Deusen was a graduate of the former Amsterdam High School. She was a homemaker who enjoyed reading and enjoyed her home. Mrs. Van Deusen had been a member of the former Trinity Reformed Church. She married Henry Weidemann who died in 1973. She then married John Van Deusen who died in 2002. Mrs. Van Deusen is survived by her daughter Linda Baldwin and her husband Stillman of Amsterdam; her step-son Richard Van Deusen of Ballston Spa; and her grandson Darryl Baldwin of Amsterdam. She is also survived by nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1:30pm Wednesday at Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Pk. Ave., Amsterdam. Burial will take place in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 5 until 8pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made: E. L.
