Obituary of Isabelle Bloziecis
Isabelle Bloziecis, 92, of John Street, died Sunday evening at the Edward L. Wilkinson Residential Health Care Facility.
Born on April 20, 1913, in Dolesville, NY, she was the daughter of Michael and Anna Kriznowskas Janis. She was a life long area resident and attended local schools.
Isabelle co-owned and operated with her husband the Blaze Inn, on East Main Street in Amsterdam.
She was a communicant of St. Casimir?s Roman Catholic Church in Amsterdam.
Isabelle was predeceased by her husband Anthony Bloziecis who died several years ago and a brother, Joseph Janis who died last year.
Survivors include; two sisters, Ella Ford of Johnstown, NY and Mary Lingle of Queensbury, NY; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday September 24, 2005 at 11:00 AM at St. Casimir?s Roman Catholic Church, 206 East Main Street in Amsterdam with the Rev. Stanley Swierzowski as celebrant. Burial will take place in St. Casimir?s Cemetery in Amsterdam. There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Isabelle?s memory to the St. Casimir?s Church Memorial Fund, 260 East Main Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
