Obituary of Edmund Alteri

Edmund Alteri, 91, of McQueen Rd., Town of Perth, died Thursday, September 22, 2005 at his home. Born in Amsterdam, NY on September 4, 1914 he was a son of Harry and Josephine Lyons Alteri. He was a lifelong Amsterdam and Perth area resident and attended local schools. He was married to Elizabeth Lauriello Alteri in 1940, she died in 1977. Mr. Alteri is survived by one son, Edmund R. Alteri of Perth, NY; two daughters, Joanne Bishop of Perth, NY and Patricia Adamkoski of Perth, NY; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. He was predeceased by a son, Richard Alteri, in 1993. Services are private.
