Obituary of Raymond J. St. Clair
Raymond J. St. Clair, 57, of State Hwy 30A, Fonda, passed away unexpectedly Saturday evening at his home.
Born in Amsterdam, NY on May 9, 1948. He lived in Troy as a child before coming to this area and attended local schools. He was employed at the Fulton Friendship House in Gloversville for the past 5 years. He was of the Christian Faith. Mr. St. Clair was an avid bowler and recently joined a new bowling league. Raymond enjoyed being around family especially his grandchildren and step-grandchildren and was very caring and generous and would do anything to help people.
He married Nancy Ault St. Clair on February 14, 1997.
In addition to his wife survivors include his mother, Dorothy St. Clair; one daughter, Delilah Baker of Sharon Springs, NY; one stepson, Brian Leonard of Amsterdam; one step-daughter, Tanya Pacillo of Fonda, NY; his mother-in-law, Mickey Ault; five sisters: Geraldine McDonald of Amsterdam, Gayle Phillips of Amsterdam, Marilyn Baker of Amsterdam, Joan Wright of Troy and Sandra Gottsammer; two grandchildren, Dylan and Alexis Baker and three step-grandchildren: Corey, Johnna and Brian Leonard Jr.
He was pre-deceased by a sister, Audrey Munson, and most recently a dear nephew, Randy Phillips.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at 11:00AM at the Jackson & Betz Funeral Home, 15 Main St. Fultonville, NY with the Rev. Pat Gallagher presiding. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Fonda, N.Y. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday September 27, 2005 from 5-8PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Montgomery Unit, 260 Osborne Rd., Albany, NY 12211.
