Obituary of Gloria Pacheco

Gloria Pacheco 80, of East Main Street, passed away suddenly Monday at her home. Born in Yauco, Puerto Rico on October 14, 1924, the daughter of Leonardo and Maria Leone DelGado Pacheco. Educated in Yauco, she was employed for twenty five years in the cafeteria of the Yauco Public School System before she retired in 1973. Following her move to Amsterdam in 1974, she was a home maker and a loving care giver to her dogs, most recently ?Pollitto Pacheco?. Gloria attended the Secondo Synagoga on East Main Street. Her loving family includes her daughter, Ramonita and her husband Israel Seise of Amsterdam; two granddaughters, Mayoa Santiago and Yasenia Seise; two great granddaughters, Monica and Monique Santiago; her sisters, Alicia Torres of Amsterdam and Palmeria Pacheco of Yauco. Nieces and nephews also survive. A service will take place Thursday evening at 7:00 pm at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may call from 6 to 7 pm prior to the service.
