Obituary of Anne A. Langelier
Mrs. Anne A. Langelier, 84, formerly of Florida Ave. passed away Wednesday evening at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady.
Born in Amsterdam, June 4, 1921 she was the daughter of the late John and Letezia Parillo Iannotti. She was a lifelong area resident and attended local schools.
In the early years she was employed at Collette Manufacturing. She later went to work for the Greater Amsterdam School District as head cook for over twenty years.
Mrs. Langelier was a communicant of St. Mary?s Roman Catholic Church.
She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren.
Mrs. Langelier was predeceased by her husband Victor who passed away in February of 1995. She was also predeceased by five sisters: Rose, Mary, Clementine, Margaret and Violet and four brothers: Ralph, Anthony, Herman and Frank.
Survivors include her daughter, Ann C. Millham and her husband Richard of Amsterdam; two granddaughters, Christine and her husband Hugh of Rocky Hill, CT and Karen and her husband Matthew Martire of Cromwell, CT; two brothers, Louis and Andrew Iannotti of Amsterdam; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be conducted on Saturday at 10:30a.m. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30a.m. at St. Mary?s Roman Catholic Church, E. Main Street. Internment will take Place in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery. A calling period will take place from 9 until 10:30a.m. prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of the 4th Floor Neurological Unit of Ellis Hospital and Dr. Fedullo and staff at Amsterdam Memorial Rehabilitation Center for their care and support.
