Obituary of Margaret Maylunas

Margaret ?Marge? H. Maylunas, 88, formerly of Roosevelt Rd., Amsterdam and most recently a resident of Hillcrest Spring Adult Home, passed away Saturday November 5, 2005 at St. Mary?s Hospital in Amsterdam. Born in Amsterdam, NY on May 31, 1917 a daughter of Henry G. and Charlotte Bellinger Hesslink. She was a lifelong Amsterdam resident and was a Graduate of the former Wilbur H. Lynch High School Class of 1935. She later attended the former Royal Beauty School. Mrs. Maylunas was an avid Bingo player and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Amsterdam. She married John A. Maylunas of Amsterdam who survives. Survivor?s also include- One Son- John H. Maylunas and his wife, Pamela Guy of West Lynn, Oregon. One Sister- Eleanor Iannuzzi of Amsterdam One Niece- Susan Spagnola of Mayfield and One Nephew- Robert Iannuzzi and his wife Patricia of Fairport, NY One Great Niece- Kimberly Aguero and One Great Nephew- James Spagnola. A Great-Great Niece and Great-Great Nephews also survive. She was pre-deceased by Two Sisters- Marion Geiger and Anna Mae Themm. A Graveside Service will be held at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY on Tuesday November 15, 2005 at 11:30A.M. Inurnment will take place in a columbarium wall at the cemetery. There are no calling hours. Memorial Contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church or to St. Casimir?s Roman Catholic Church both c/o the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
