Sure was sad to hear of Ms Rose passing on. It was my pleasure to have known and correspond with her. She will surely be missed by all those that she touched.

In only a few seconds, you could sense that Grandma Rose was a very special, unique lady. What spunk! What a twinkle in her eyes! It was our distinct privilege to meet her at Melanie & Mark's wedding. She carried on the airplane several trays of wedding cookies she'd made. So like her. She will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have met her.

When I saw the photo of Rosenell in her kitchen I was reminded of the lunch she prepared for me this past summer. She insisted on inviting me since I was in town and then she wanted to invite another cousin Carmella Ruskstinat and Sarah was there to help. We had the best time together talking about our families and my trip to Italy. Rosenell was a part of my link to family and Amsterdam. We would email each other. I'm sure she along with all the relatives are having a great reunion in heaven. My Love and prayers to all her family

It over 3 decades ago, but it seems like yesterday, that instead of walking home from school, I walked to "the shop" on Leonard St. to see my mother Gloria. There with a big smile and a greeting of "Hi Cuz" was Rose. "You know, she said, your father and I are cousins so that makes you and I cousins." I can't remember a single time when she wasn't smiling. She gave us all life long memories. God bless her.

Rose was a special lady. As friends of Ralph's she always made me and my brothers feel like we were part of her family. The times we spent at her camp in Caroga Lake are wonderful memories. I'm sure there are now a lot fewer cold hands in heaven.
