I will always remember Dennis and I am sorry to hear of his passing--I always thought of him as "eternal," --here "forever"...always "young." The world will not be the same without him in it..he was -- unique...young at heart..spirited...free...a truly unique person.

Denny and I graduated from SMI Class of 1961. He was always so funny and fun to be with. Although in later years we lived around the corner from each other, I had not seen him in quite a while. When he worked at the Eccentric Club I saw him often. We all enjoyed his sense of humor and he always had a good joke to tell me. On behalf of our class, a donation will be made in his memory to the SMI Alumni Assoc. and our classmate, Rev. Dick Vosko will be saying a Mass in his honor. My condolences to his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Dear DiLorenzo Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Dennis was a great guy and such a reliable sub. He knew our kids and the staff well at Mayfield High School. His easy going manner made him well liked by our students, other subs and staff as well. I will miss seeing him in the hallways with his cup of coffee and newspaper in hand. I truly hope that your fond memories and the support from all who knew Dennis, help you through this difficult time.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the DiLorenzo family. I had "Mr D" for a substitute many times and always looked forward those classes. He was a regular face and always had a smile on!

Went to St. Mary's with Denny. Always fun to be around. Could count on Denny to cheer you. Denny holds a special place in all the hearts that had the privilege to know him. Last time I saw him was at his father's funeral. To get over my grief, have to draw on the times that Denny made us all laugh. Goodbye dear friend.

I was a high school classmate of Denny's; we played baseball and basketball together. I so looked forward to seeing him at our reunions. Ironically, he called me four weeks ago to talk about the NFL playoffs and we talked for an hour. He seemed upbeat but that was always Denny. I am saddened by his passing; may God bless him.

I had known Dennis for about 20 years, as he had spent much time substitute teaching in our building.
He was not only a good friend, but also very professional and highly reliable. He was always one of my first requests when I was out of school. He was also very well liked by the Mayfield student body.
I will never forget his sense of humor. He will be greatly missed.
