Obituary of Lillian Celnik

Mrs. Lillian Celnik, 77, of Gloversville, died February 28, 2006. Mrs. Celnik was born in the Bronx on September 22, 1928, daughter of the late Jack and Matilda Lewis Finz. She was educated in the Bronx and a homemaker. Mrs. Celnik relocated to Gloversville in 2000. She was very devoted to her religion and as a Jehovah's Witness, she enjoyed talking to people regularly about it. She looked forward to being in Paradise. Survivors include her son, Paul and his wife Drusilla of Gloversville. Paul deeply loved his mother and considered her to be his inspiration and his hero. Lillian is also survived by her son, Aaron Joseph Celnik and his wife Bonnie of Riverdale, New York and a brother, Richard Finz of the Bronx, New York. There will be no calling hours. Cremation took place at Parkview Crematory, Schenectady. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses of Gloversville/Riceville, 145 Riceville Road, Gloversville. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville.
