I can hear his laugh and see his smile - Kevin was a true kind spirit, always had a great story and a big hug for me. I will not be able to go down Caroline without having an ache in my heart. and how he loved his family - Rosemary what a mom you are & to have Kevin as your angel watching over you. My sympathies to Kevin's family and all his many friends. We will all miss his bright smile and optimistic way.

You told me once ?Rick, remember, when you laugh, the world laughs with you. When you cry, you cry alone.? Kevin, because of you we all had someone to laugh with and you laughed away our tears. You?re gone now and I cry, but I feel that I?m not alone. You will be missed by many, but especially by me. You were my cigar man. Your were my friend. You were my family.
Mourning the loss still

Rick, Lisa, Kelly, Seam, Lori, Rosemary and familes -
Although at such a time as this friends will say that time will ease your sorrow and take your grief away, what is truer and more comforting is to know that in our hearts, cherished thoughts and memories....loved ones never really part.
I was so sad to hear this news. My thought are with all of you.

Our condolences go out to the family and friends of Kevin. Myself and my partner at Saratoga Emergency Corp were regular customers in Kevin's store and became very good friends with him. We were shocked by the news that he had passed. He will be greatly missed by us and everyone who has ever met him. He was a great man and will always be in the thoughts and minds of us here at Saratoga Emergency Medical Services. We wish everyone the best.

I am so very sorry for your loss. When I think of Kevin, I can hear his great laugh. I can see him golfing and see him enjoy Italian food the way no one else on earth does and I remember how he adores his mother. I am so very sorry for your loss and for everyone who will miss him so

My deepest condolences. I meet Kevin four years ago when I first moved to Saratoga Springs. He introduced himself to me as I was walking past his store with my boxer dog. He was so generous, friendly, funny and so interesting. I enjoyed our conversations - sitting outside his shop with a glass of wine he would offer me - discussing politics, sports, and local happenings. He will be grealty missed.

I have so many fond memories of Kevin and the times we had together: The Derby Day parties, The Chili Cook-offs the TWO TIME, TWO TIME Championship Chili, Traver's Nights, New Year's Eves...EVERY day at Smokin' Sam's was a GREAT day, because Kevin had such enthusiasm and spirit. Everyone who came into the shop was his friend by the time they left.
I think there are 2 things I'll remember most about Kevin. First, he loved his family, especially his mom, whom he adored. Whenever he was away, he'd always call and ask "Mike, did my mom get home okay?" The second thing I'll remember was how he liked to turn a phrase: "The Magic is back!" or "Lucci goes DOWN!" or "It's the Summer of Smokin' Sam." My favorite was "In Saratoga, the people are the show." The show won't ever be quite the same, because one of its brightest stars has been extinguished.
I know my life is better for having known Kevin. I hope I was able to make a small difference in his life. I will miss him dearly. The entire Doyle family has my deepest condolences, and all my love.

?KENNY BEE!? Sammy aka Kevin would yell out to me as I walked up the block. With a big smile he would jump off the bench in front of the store. ?Where you been?you know you?re my man, Kenny Bee!? He?d reach into the fridge next to the barber chair and grab me my favorite drink: a glass-bottle Coke. ?Sit down, man, grab a seat,? he would insist. ?You?re hanging out awhile break out a smoke come on man. Don?t be in such a rush you just got here we?ll get to the order, Bernie Kevin had a few names for me.? Kevin was never in a rush but his energy was always set on high. He made me feel as if I were his best friend when I came to make my sales call. He?d tell me about the chili contest and how it was quite the event and how he planned on winning it again. ?Hey if you need a place to stay just let me know.? Kevin aka Sammy would finally let me take my order while telling me some more stories. ?Wait until the races start it?s great around here!? My guess was that?s when the town?s level of excitement was closest to his own and he loved it?he loved it all. As I?d leave he would have that great big smile, a Cool Hand Luke smile. As I would get ready to leave his parting words were always,
keep me in mind don?t forget me man don?t forget me. Kevin, don?t worry I won?t.
