Obituary of Christopher W. Johnson

Christopher W. Johnson, 43, Old Dirt Road, Monticello, Florida, passed away July 8, 2006 at the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Monticello, Florida. Born June 28, 1963, in Amsterdam, New York, he was the son of Margaret Jackson Johnson and the late Gary Johnson. He was employed as a tree cutter for James Johnson in Tallahassee. Chris enjoyed working around the house and carpentry. He was married to Ruth Green Johnson on December 10, 1988. Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Corey Johnson of Glens Falls, NY and Kevin Johnson of Amsterdam; his mother, Margaret Johnson of Town of Amsterdam; two brothers, Lance Johnson and his wife Kathy of West Galway, NY and Mark D. Johnson of Amsterdam; aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2006, at 2:00 pm at the West Galway Cemetery.
