Peggy, Thom, Bill. Dave was a wonderful person who meant much to all who knew him. I know he was an important part of my mother's life and meant a great deal to her, and he did much for her which we -- I, Wes, and Harry -- are ever grateful. I know they both enjoyed their weekend grocery shopping excursions. Though it has been some years, the wake brought back many distinct memories including our life on the East End including board games at Thom's house -- Dave always made sure we had fun as long as we didn't argue over rules too long, and his love for music and his encouragement and support of Thom's musical passion. I also recall my first little league ball game to which Dave drove Thom and me. Dave was always generous with his time and was a caring soul. He certainly will be missed.

Nancy and Family,
Please accept my condolence at this time.
David was a very colorful person!! He always referred to me at "Blondie" and never failed to stop and say hi.
What I will remember most of all his rendition of Santa at Christmas time!!!
I am sure he will still be HO-HOing in heaven.
Peace be with one and all.

Like my sisters, I too have fond memories of visiting Aunt M's and Uncle Dave's house. They always made you feel welcome, no matter what time of the day or night you stopped by. To Aunt M, Thom, and Billy, and their families, my thoughts are with you.

Uncle Dave will be missed by not only his immediate family but also by all his nieces and nephews, including me. I knew whenever we visited Uncle Dave and Aunt "M" we would be welcomed with open arms. Uncle Dave was a wonderful husband, father and uncle
and the world is a little less bright without him in it. Aunt M, Thom and Bill you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Lou Anne

Uncle Dave was a great guy, very loving, giving, and caring. How I enjoyed coming to visit him and Aunt "M" in Amsterdam as a child and later as an adult, and them stopping at our house in Northville, having picnics, and swimming . . . I remember his shiftwork at GE steam turbine division?, and seeing him at Amsterdam high school in a production of . . . I think it was "Mack and Mabel", with his son Thom. I remember thinking, what a cool thing, my uncle up there on stage singing and dancing! To Aunt "M", know that my thoughts and prayers are always with you and especially now, and to Thom and Bill and your families, you know he was so proud of you both and wanted the best for you.
Love to you all.
Your niece/cousin, Lori
