Obituary of Mary R. Greco

Miss Mary R. Greco, age 69 of Johnstown, died Monday, July 31, 2006 at Mountain Valley Hospice, Gloversville. She was born on April 28, 1937 in Troy, NY; and was a graduate of Gloversville High School. She lived in the Gloversville and Johnstown area all of her life. Mary was employed by Contel Telephone Company in Johnstown for 25 years, retiring as a service office representative. Mary was an avid owl collector, and loved music. She enjoyed recording and watching numerous movies. She is survived by her mother, Lillian Poyfair Houle of Gloversville; a sister, Ilene B. Greco of Johnstown; an uncle, David Poyfair of Gloversville; an aunt, Mary Jane Baker of Johnstown; and several cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at 11:00 am on August 10, 2006 at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Northville, with the Rev. R. W. Williams officiating. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 108 Steele Avenue, Gloversville, NY 12078.
