Obituary of George A. White

George A. White, 46, of Fonda, passed away on Tuesday August 15, 2006. He was born in Gloversville, on March 1, 1960, the son of Leila Cheney White and the late Calvin White. He was educated in Mayfield schools, and following this, was employed as a forklift driver for Kas-Kel Manufacturing in Fonda. An avid outdoorsman, he loved to spend time hunting and fishing. George is survived by his wife, Sally Miller White, of Gloversville, and by his mother, Leila Cheney White, of Johnstown. He is also survived by his daughters Courtney White, Holly White, Wendy White and Amy White, and by his son, Calvin White, all of Gloversville. Other survivors include his sisters, JoAnn Dickenson of St. Johnsville and Nancy Thomsen of South Carolina., as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins, and his close friend, Clara Packard. George was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Laura Morrison. There are no services currently scheduled. Arrangements are by the Walrath and Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville
