Obituary of Madeline Di Mauro

Mrs. Madeline Di Mauro, formerly of Martin Road, Fonda, passed away peacefully Wednesday afternoon at Edward L. Wilkinson RHCF. Born on May 21, 1912 in New York City, she was the daughter of the late John and Jennie Ciciarri Biondo. Mrs. Di Mauro moved to the area in 1992 and was a homemaker. She was also a communicant of St. Cecilia?s Roman Catholic Church in Fonda. On April 26, 1942 she was united in marriage to Venerando Di Mauro. That union lasted 50 years until his passing on May 4, 1992. Her loving family includes her son, Joseph J. Di Mauro and his wife Susan of Fonda, NY; three grandchildren, Joseph Di Mauro and his wife Dina of Commack, NY, Jennifer Di Mauro of Huntington, NY and Rosanne Lybolt and her husband Raymond of Fonda, NY; and two great granddaughters, Gabriella Rose and Sofia Marie Di Mauro. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday today at 9:00 a.m. at the Jackson & Betz Funeral Home, 15 Main Street, Fultonville, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Cecilia?s Roman Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Patrick Gallagher OFM Conv. as celebrant. Entombment will take place in the family mausoleum in Evergreen Cemetery, Sandflats, Fonda. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Cecilia?s Roman Catholic Church.
