Obituary of Joseph Victor Frederick

Amsterdam, NY?Joseph Victor Frederick, 88, former resident of Sunset Road in the Town of Amsterdam, passed away Saturday morning at the Hillcrest Spring Adult Home. Born October 23, 1917, he was the son of the late Joseph Frederick and Sophia Gunia Frederick Bramer. He was a life long resident. Joseph was employed as a cutter for the Breier industries for many years until he retired in 1978 due to ill health. He was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church in Amsterdam. Joseph loved to play bingo & cards. Survivors include a cousin, Clara Druziak of Amsterdam; a care giver Joan Bez of Amsterdam; close friends Raymond and Louise Milunski of Amsterdam, several cousins also survive. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam followed by a Funeral Mass to be given at 11:00 am at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church, Reid Street, Amsterdam with the Rev. Pascal Iannotti as celebrant. Burial will take place in St. Joseph?s Cemetery in Fort Johnson, NY. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday from 9 am to 10 am at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Joseph?s memory to a charity of one?s choice or to St. Stanislaus Church Memorial Fund.
