Darn, Mick! I just found out that you left us for the big powder fields in the sky. I'm real sorry that our trails haven't crossed in such a long time, but I have always had such great memories of your friendship, and skiing and teaching with you at West. The week we bunked together, at Mt. Snow, when we got certified together - man!, that was 43 years ago this week!. I can't tell you how many times I've flashed back on your jokes. You could sure hold a room!
Sorry I never got together with you, in the last few years, to share the memories, and let you know how important a friend you were.
My heartfelt condolences to your family.
Rest in Peace, good friend!

Mike,
Thanks for taking me under your wing and being a mentor and a friend. We had some great times in the 139th Aeromed Evac. We worked hard and played just as hard. You were a man of honor and integrity and someone I always respected and considered a true friend. My best wishes and sincere condolences to your family.
Rest in Peace my Friend.

I have known Mike for over 30 years. As a Chief, Mike took care of us enlisted troops. When I became an Officer, he made sure I did too. He was a hard worker and a hard player. And, he knew how to tell a joke! We laughed around the world together in Korea, Saudi Arabia, Germany, England, Azores, etc. I always felt safe when Mike was around. And I don't know of any human who made me laugh more than he did. I will miss him very much but always smile at the memories. I am so glad I got to know him.
Rest in Peace Chief.

Sending prayers, deepest sympathy and love to Linda and families. What do you say knowing someone for 40 plus years, friends all that time, the dogs, your wedding, working out, our Perth Fitness families, getting together for dinners, football games, riding the Harleys, many many fun times, so many memories over the years, laughs and tears. Thank you for your service in the US military, you were definitely a man of travel. Rest in peace no more illnesses.

Captain & Chief, but more important a great friend and role model. Certain people make a lasting impression on your career or life. Mike was that person for both. We worked together, played together, skied when he was able. He was very encouraging for career advancement to me and my peers. I will remember all the good you did for hundreds of service members, myself included. Peace be with you my friend.

Michael was a forever friend with a larger than life presence.
He was my mentor as I believed that he knew everything about Aeromedical Evacuation. He was a hero with a career of military service where he risked his life to save others. He was a Chief Master Sergeant which for those of us in the military says it all. He was in the top 1%.
He helped me through tough times and was there for my family. He was the best man at my wedding.
He meant the world to me and I am so grateful to call him my friend.
The last time that I saw him he wasn't feeling well. I wish for him to be pain free and will always count him as an angel in my corner.
I miss you already Michael.

This man was one of the real "Chief's" in the military. Without question he could be counted on time and again. A man's man yet a real gentleman too. He never saw the hard work as hardship and his humor made even the toil a cheer. I will not forget this man all of my days!

My condolences to the Casatelli family and his extended family at the Forrester Club. I remember first meeting Mike when I was 16 years old, Mike and my Dad were good friends. Mike left a lasting impression. He was always up for a ride or meeting me for a soda at the Forrester Club. Always took my phone call, and always ended our conversation with I love you Affi or brother. Glad I had a chance to speak to him just a couple of weeks ago as he was telling me of the new trike he was going to be riding this summer. Mike I'm going to miss you, Ride it like you stole it. Love John "Affi" Affinito
