Obituary of Esther Carswell

Esther Carswell, 91, of the Palatine Nursing Home, passed away Monday morning at the St. Mary?s Hospital in Amsterdam. Born July 31, 1915, in Greenwich, New York, she was the daughter of the late John and Nora O?Neal Carswell. She moved to the Palatine Nursing Home seven years ago where she was very happy and made wonderful friends. Esther loved to knit, crochet, play bingo and embroider. Survivors include a sister, Ruth Isolda of Saratoga Springs; a brother, Robert Carswell of the state of Florida and nieces and nephews. A private graveside memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at the Greenwich Cemetery in Greenwich, New York. There will be no calling hours.
