Obituary of Frances Suarez

Frances Suarez, 30, of Meadow St. Amsterdam, NY passed away Wednesday morning, August 23, 2006 at St. Mary?s Hospital in Amsterdam. Born in Riopiedras, Puerto Rico on February 23, 1976 a daughter of Francisco Suarez Bravo and Angela Hernandez. She was a 1995 Graduate of Amsterdam High School. She later received her Associate in Arts Degree from Fulton-Montgomery Community College in 1997. She then attended the State University of New York at Plattsburgh and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in 2000. Frances worked for many different area businesses. She was employed for a time by St. Mary?s Hospital, Stewarts Shop, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Eckerd and Rite Aid Pharmacies all in Amsterdam. While working at Eckerd and Rite Aid she worked as a Pharmacist?s Assistant and was currently working at Rite Aid when she became ill. She was a communicant of both St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in and St. Mary?s Roman Catholic Church both in Amsterdam. She is survived by her parents, Angela Hernandez and Francisco Suarez Bravo of Amsterdam; her maternal Grandmother, Carmen Gloria Ramos of Puerto Rico; one brother, Frankie Suarez, Jr. of Amsterdam; two sisters, Berenices Suarez of Amsterdam and Jeannette Kelly of Queens, New York; two nieces, Francesca and Erin and one nephew, Antonio. Aunts, Uncles and cousins also survive. She also is survived by her beloved cats, Munchkin, Betsy, Chaski and her pet lizard, Punky. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, August 25, 2006 at 2:30P.M. at St. Mary?s Roman Catholic Church in Amsterdam. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Amsterdam. The family received relatives and friends on Friday prior to the Mass beginning at 12:30P.M. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam.
