Obituary of Audrey Bardequez

Audrey Bardequez, 69, of Grove Street, Amsterdam died Wednesday morning at Mt. Loretto Nursing Home. Born on January 7, 1937, she was the daughter of Juan Martinez and Eriberta Reyes. She was born and raised in Puerto Rico before moving to New York City and has resided in Amsterdam for the past 15 years. Mrs. Bardequez was employed by the Gibbons- Burke Law offices in Scotia for several years before her retirement. She was of the Christian faith, and enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include: her daughter Judith Fuentes and her husband Sam of Amsterdam; one son James Bardequez of Albany; one sister Carmen Maria Rodriguez of Amsterdam; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren and her niece, Lisa Marie. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 8, 2006 at 3:00p.m. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam. A calling hour will precede the funeral from 2 until 3.
