Obituary of Ines Sosa

Mrs. Ines Sosa, 77 years old of Elizabeth Street, died Friday at St. Mary?s Hospital in Amsterdam. She was born July 22, 1929 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Abram and Vincenta Massas Nieves. Mrs. Sosa was employed as a L.P.N. at Teachers Hospital in Puerto Rico retiring in 1987. She resided in Louisiana for a time before moving to Amsterdam in 1986. Mrs. Sosa was married to Rogelio Sosa who died in 1986. She was a member of AARP. Mrs. Sosa is survived by 2 daughters: Orquidea Rosario of Albany and Andrea Piantini of Amsterdam; her brother Carmelo Massas of Ohio; 5 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her good friend Madeline Rivera and her family. Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Sunday at Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave., Amsterdam. Cremation will follow at Vale Crematorium. The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday 1 hour prior to the funeral from 12noon until 1:00pm
