Anna,Don,& the entire family.Both myself and son Jon wish to extend our deepest sorrow at the loss of Uncle Art.It was my pleasure to meet him,and enjoy his humor,and fine hospitality.I will always remember his great smile and solid hand shake.The last time i saw Uncle Art was approx 15 years ago,and will always remember the times at the camp at Caroga Lake...and the great smoked salmon he had prepared for myself and Michele while we were there.There was nothing he would not do for a friend or family member,always extending himslf to make sure all was right.It is often said that the mark of a remarkable person is not the money he made,or the mark he left on society,but the every day honesty,kindness and good deeds that he did for his family and extended to everyone he knew .This world will be left with the legacy that he gave to all of us.I am so grateful to have known such a great person,and can only regret that my son did not get a chance to meet him.We will miss him greatly,our loss, is the Lords gain.All our love/John and Jon

I briefly saw Don at NLH on Thursday morning. I just wanted to let you know how deeply sorry I am to hear about Art. I'm glad I had the chance to get to know him through my High School years. He was very proud of his family and he loved you all very much. He talked of you often when he went to visit my father for a hair cut. He will be sadly missed.
