Obituary of Beulah Winsman Doak
Beulah Winsman Doak, 89, of Argersinger Road, passed away early Wednesday morning at Nathan Littauer Nursing Home.
Born on June 24, 1917 in Fonda, she was the daughter of the late Maynard and Blanche Wolcott Fox. She was a lifelong area resident and a 1934 graduate of the Fultonville High School.
Mrs. Doak was employed for 23 years for the Templeton Glove Company of Fonda. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Charleston Historical Society. She also attended the Fultonville Reformed Church.
Mrs. Doak loved going to Florida in the winter and enjoyed traveling and reading.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Charles Winsman in 1968; her second husband, Lawrence Doak in 1984; her son, Richard Winsman; a daughter Jeannie Fancher and her husband Leon; and two brothers A.W. and Thomas Fox.
Survivors include her daughter, Shirley Colegrove and her husband Ron of Fultonville; a son Jim Winsman Sr. of Fonda; a daughter in law, Linda Winsman of Randall; 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in Maple Avenue Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Fultonville Reformed Church, P.O. Box 454, Fultonville, NY 12072.
